Day 01 :

Nairobi → Kilimanjaro Gate → Shira 1 Camp

Early morning departure from Nairobi (~6:00 AM).

Drive to Moshi / Londorossi Gate (~7–8 hours including border/park formalities).

Meet your guides and complete park registration.

Start the trek along the Lemosho route, trekking through lush rainforest to Shira 1 Camp (2,600 m).

Overnight at Shira 1 Camp.

Day 02 :

Shira 1 Camp → Shira 2 Camp

Continue trekking across the Shira Plateau, enjoying wide-open landscapes and views of Kibo Peak.

Spot wildlife such as monkeys and diverse bird species along the trail.

Overnight at Shira 2 Camp (3,500 m) for proper acclimatization.

Day 03 :

Shira 2 Camp → Barranco Camp

Trek over the lava towers and ridges, gradually ascending.

Cross scenic valleys and enjoy panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s glaciers.

Descend slightly to Barranco Camp (3,950 m) for overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp

Tackle the famous Barranco Wall, a steep but manageable climb with guide assistance.

Trek through alpine desert landscapes and valleys, with spectacular views of glaciers and peaks.

Overnight at Karanga Camp (4,000 m).

Day 05 :

Karanga Camp → Barafu Camp → Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp

Early morning ascent to Barafu Camp (4,600 m).

Begin the summit climb to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) at midnight.

Enjoy sunrise at the summit and descend back to Barafu, then continue down to Mweka Camp (3,100 m).

Overnight at Mweka Camp.

Day 06 :

Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate → Nairobi

Trek through Mweka forest, concluding the hike at Mweka Gate.
Receive your summit certificates.
Drive back to Nairobi (~7–8 hours), arriving in the evening.
